Iran - Neda

You know, after watching some videos of the protests in Iran it really made me realise how lucky we are in North America. Here I am sitting in air conditioning at work providing tech support to computer customers, listening to them scream at me because their computer is an "inconvenince" to them. I almost want to lay in to them and tell them it is just a friggin machine! You aren't dying!

There are so many things we take for granted. So many people we take advantage of as people in life.

Neda is a girl that was watching the protest with her father near the streets and was shot and died in the middle of the street. It was captured on film and is now all over the internet. She wasn't protesting and died. I admit it wasn't smart to be down there but the fact remains that an innocent person died.

It makes me almost feel guilty for living in such great conditions. I just wanted to share this with everyone.

From the amount of protesters already, and the government's reaction to them, I don't think her death will be in vain, as sad as it was. According to the news here, she didn't have any option about being there, she was stuck in the traffic-jam, resulting from the protest - She only got out the car to stretch her legs, poor kid

The official story from the mullahs is that she was killed by one of the protesters. Yeah, right.

I expect her family will get charged for the bullet that killed her, like this poor guy:

This is insane! If these are the morals of the country leader than I say every country should come together and take out that regime! I am sickened by this!

I saw the video on youtube of a guy dying with a bullet in his forehead, uncensored...gross, dont watch it. I bet it was him.

Iranian envoy: CIA involved in Neda's shooting?

MEXICO CITY, Mexico (CNN) -- The United States may have been behind the killing of Neda Agha-Soltan, the 26-year-old Iranian woman whose fatal videotaped shooting Sa****ay made her a symbol of opposition to the June 12 presidential election results, the country's ambassador to Mexico said Thursday.

Neda Agha-Soltan, 26, was shot to death in Tehran on Sa****ay.

"This death of Neda is very suspicious," Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Ghadiri said. "My question is, how is it that this Miss Neda is shot from behind, got shot in front of several cameras, and is shot in an area where no significant demonstration was behind held?"

He suggested that the CIA or another intelligence service may have been responsible
