Wolfram Alpha

Has anyone else found this site really cool? I haven't used it a whole lot but it seems really intuitive and clever. I have found it quite useful for comparing data for geographical investigation etc, because, unlike a conventional search engine it computes a logical answer, most of the time unless of course it cant interpret your input, in which case google would probably do the same!

Has anyone found any really quirky or useful ways to use this site? One that my friend showed me is this ( you will need to have heard the song to understand but hey)

Input "How many roads must a man walk down"

Wolfram Alpha output - "the answer my friend, is blowin in the wind"

Re: Wolfram Alpha

I hadn't heard about it until this post - I typed in 'where are you?' and got the response 'I live on the Internet' - Brilliant, a search-engine with humour!!!

I tried again with 'where am I?' and it told me I'm in London, my ISP provider and ISP address, then offered to show me a GoogleMap - That shows me as living in the centre of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and Lambeth Bridge (I'm actually a few miles eastwards of there )

I've bookmarked the site, for more fun later - Thanks very lots

Re: Wolfram Alpha

Go to Google maps and ask for driving instructions from your city to Tokyo. My results included grabbing a canoe from LA to Hawaii.
