Why do you use hotspots
I was sitting at a local hotspot today getting lunch (its a deli) and noticed I was not the only one there using their internet access. It seems it was pretty full of users.
I was wondering, why do you use your local hotspots?

Re: Why do you use hotspots
During the academic terms I spend a lot of time at my apartment doing homework or working on projects. During the summer I spend fair amount of time at my apartment cooking, fixing things, working on projects, etc. If I don't have other plans, it's nice to go to a local coffee shop at the end of the week to listen to live music, drink good coffee and work on personal projects. It's a refreshing change of atmosphere.
I have sometimes used them for meetings, but that is a fairly rare occurance for me.

Re: Why do you use hotspots
Ironically the service at mcdonalds is better than the service in my soon-to-be student accomodation, likely to be the same in coffee shops and so on, so i can see myself using them a lot more.
