Pot bill passes, U.S. laws change, then what?

Imagine walking into a coffee shop, corner market or any grocery store with a state-approved cannabis licenseand buying a joint or an ounce of pot, plus tax.

Re: Pot bill passes, U.S. laws change, then what?

Arnold is just trying to boost tax revenue. I personally don't agree with the legalization of marijuana. That would be sort of a mixed message being sent to schoolchildren who have been told that drugs are harmful to your body. But if it was going to happen somewhere, California would have been my first guess.

Honestly I just found it very interesting. We had talk of it here in South Africa a while back.

As you said Marijuana is a major tax booster, i read an article about the tax implications and earnings potential, etc as well and it is a major eye opener, no matter your opinion.

I COMPLETELY agree with the legalization of pot! :)

Although, it's going to be very strange to see people lit in a grocery store or possibly driving your ambulance or doing your yard work or baby sitting your infant, or giving you a shot, or being your life guard.

No its go9ing to be treated like alcohol which means no lighting it in public places except certain bars.

Pot is a tiny bit worse than alcohol and should be treated as such. No way is there going yo be intoxicated Paramedics, are you insane Undocked?

Re: Pot bill passes, U.S. laws change, then what?

If alcohal is legal than pot should be too. I rather be in a car with a paranoid pot head then a drunk driver.

Pot and alcohol both have negitives.

Alcohol = liver cancer
Pot = lung cancer

Humans have 1 liver
Humans have 2 lungs

Criminalize alcohol and legalize the greens!
I rather not be in either situation but I think I made my point :)

great, what next now, legalizing marijuana for boosting tax now?

one of the disadvantages of having a govt run by former money men, all they think about is money, nothing else.

@ l_b_rex i did take a look at your Dr tran video, its' hilarious.

"Humans have 1 liver
Humans have 2 lungs"

Alcohol = 100% chance of cancer
Pot = 50% chance of cancer

CAN'T lie with those statistics. Then again, 50% of all statistics are made up on the spot !!!!!!

Re: Pot bill passes, U.S. laws change, then what?

The only way you can over dose is if:

A) You are alergic to it
B) You suffocate, which caan only happen if you are in a tiny sealed room with Lbs of weed burning.

People can't OD from pot. If you smoke too much you just fall asleep.

It's a well known fact that dope leads to hard drugs - Like alcohol and tobacco .

Re: Pot bill passes, U.S. laws change, then what?

Actually, it doesn't. It depends on your attitude, addictions, peer-pressure, intelligence, etc. It doesn't always lead to hardcore drugs.

Also, @ the Robin Williams video - he's a very talented individual.

Hardcore criminal and officer come into a police station)

Criminal breaks away from police officer!
"ARGGGG HARDCORE" - Screams the hardcore person (breaks steel office chair on his face)

Police Clerk yells frantically to Officer - "Did you check this guy for drugs?

Officer (shrugging while slowly pulling out his stun gun so to appear calm - "Yes it appears he's the master mind drug kingpin and all he's on is diet cola."

He begins running at breakneck speed pulling people off chairs and bent on making the police force to buy new chairs and is quite delusional)
"I love Diet COLA, ARGG!"
"I'm HARDCORE when it comes to SOFT drinks, 50 a day! CAFFIENE!

Officer - "See he's into hardcore drugs"
Officer seeing that the man is clearly stupid and continues to break chairs on his face but is slowing down and shoots him in the eye

THE END

If you want I can make more random stories involving random things.

I don't want to do it.
I'm not against other people doing it though, but it has to be treated like alcohol.
