It's definitely awe-inspiring, but it makes me feel frustrated, rather than small, in the Cosmos - Frustrated insofar as we can't visit and explore them

Yes, but there are two theories of thought on this. Once, the universe will continue its expanse, the other that it will begin contracting back on itself until there is a reverse "big bang". I guess an implossion.

Still just how much is there out there, that just crushes some other perceptions that we have about everything and how it works...religion, science, and whatever else.

To me, seeing the vastness of this makes religion even easier to believe. But look at the varying, for lack of a better word, hugenesses of the different stars! Some make our sun look like a pin prick. Trying to wrap my mind around that is hard.

I cannot wait for them to make the stargate in Cheyenne mountain public. I would love to go to the ends of the galaxy.

The scientists reckon that the further into space we look, the further back in history we're seeing - So, if we could travel to a star approx. 4,500 light-years away then look back at Earth, we might finally be able to answer the riddle of Stonehenge, why/how etc.
