captains log...star..blah blah blah...two thirty pm....

slow fella calls in...I think its the same guy...he actually has a modem installed because he can see it... and I lied to him plus I have no idea what Im talking about..but he still cant get on...asked him what version of modem plug he has...he tells me he will have to find out later because he cant do that while we're on the phone...hangs up and I go back to sleep...

phone rings and wakes me up...ba*%*##...he said he got the modem working but now its being slow...and he thinks its something to do with his profile...told him ok, let me login and look through...put him on hold and walk out to my car to get some change for snack machine....go back to the phone and ask him whats the last time he did scandisk/defrag ?...he said he cant do scandisk because he doesnt have a scanner..but hes gonna try defrag...

that cute intern from downstairs logs in to finish up some left over work from friday...roll over to admins. workstation and take acct. server offline....intern calls in saying that she cant get to expense reports...Told her that its down and it will take a while to fix...in the meantime shes welcome to come up and play a round of Mechwarrior....

Wink

TopCat My Man,

Be extremely careful beaming yourself into Merlin's head I suspect a "Black Hole" in that vicinity, I've been probing that area with my "Cosmic Scanner" and have not been able to get a return indicating any activity at all. :D

Take care my friend.

:ufo: :ufo: :ufo:

twas

ps - Of course the fact that I got my "Cosmic Scanner" on sale for
$ 4.95 at Walmart might be affecting the readings just a
smidgen.

DJ, no black holes whatsoever....twas, the "area" might be more advanced than you think...your "cosmic scanner" signal is actually being jammed... :) are you sure your scanner doesnt need an update ? I dont want you to run into a black hole somewhere else...we cannot afford to loose you..and be careful with cosmic scanner for some entities might object to you scanning them :)

peace....

P.S. good scanning grounds for black holes....Anna Nicole Smith...even el cheapo scanners pick up wealth of data in that "area"...happy hunting...

Hey merlin, I've got a customer for you. Called up looking for a ISP. 50mhz computer 8 megs memory, win 3.11 and a 2400 baud modem. :D You want him? We told him to try AOL. They still take 2400 baud modems?

Hey, microsoft would support anything for a buck. They would just say it is the computers fault though and not their own. And of course the computer people will say its microsofts fault. :D
