Another reason to switch to firefox

Not that firefox is perfect but it's a whole lot better than IE. Since I've used firefox I rarely get any spyware on my computer and it's even more rare for me to get a pop-up. I almost forgot they existed.
I've been using gmail for a few weeks now and have yet to get spam. I used yahoo before that (and still use it for some things) and rarely get any spam. I don't understand how people get so much spam in the first place. Do they sign there e-mail to every little thing that comes there way?
Well I personally never had a problem to the point of going crazy with spam. And without IE life is good. Why do people put up with the IE holes?

Just a guess, but I suspect many of those who continue to use IE are just too computer illiterate to install any extra/other software, browsers, etc. That and the appearant fact that M$ is so good at brainwashing the general populus into thinking there's nothing better.

those people in that story have a contaminated machine ,and they dont know how to clean it , how to protect their machines .
Some people still dont know even the existence of adware se ,or spybot S& D

with it s teatimer .

Personnaly , i have firefox installed ,and i am using explorer , and have no problem ,the key is patch your pc .
i help friends to fix their pcs , and i did realize that people don t update windows at all (once i found more than 39 crticals updates)

The main problem is the lack of computer education of people ,and like you said you give your email to any free service , expect to receive tons of junk email .
once again ...lack of education .
