Travolta
poor kid died from a sezure in the bathroom. I was just wondering if scientology played any part from not taking meds.

Re: Travolta
Aww how sad. As a parent, I couldn't just allow my child to suffer with any malady that could be cured/managed/lessened under the care of a physician and with all the knowledge, meds, technology. I know nothing about the philosophy of scientology. The name alone would make you think you would celebrate all that science has to offer and up there on the list would be medical science.

Quote:
Many anti-epileptic drugs double as psychiatric medications for uses such as impulse control; scientology discourages the use of psychiatric medications. this is highly speculative, but it is possible that for this reason his son was not treated with pharmaceutical for a seizure disorder. But if this was one of his first seizures, or the first in a long while then there is no one to blame. I mean they let the kid shower by himself so if he did have a seizure disorder I doubt anyone knew about it.

Re: Travolta
Correction, he does have a history of seizures according to the Washington Post and was on meds. Maybe the kid should have had a helmet on, but if he was on meds they many times forgo the helmet if the seizures are controlled.
