Feds Take Over Probe Deadly Gas Explosion

This explosion took place about 10 miles from where we live.

PG&E workers were here at our apartments today changing out a gas meter. My husband, who generally is not much of a jokester, went up behind the service technician and said "Boom!". Without skipping a beat, the technician replied "There's a gas leak and we're gunna have to evacuate the building."

All kidding aside, I pray for all the survivors to make a quick recovery. The Shriner's Childrens Hospital is just down the street from where I live. They specialize in burn treatment for ALL children at no cost to the family.

Yea the shriners are an awesome organization.

I hope that they'll be able to sort out their lives after this accident, I couldn't even imagine what kind of trauma that is to go through
