Thought the election was over?

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...electoral_vote

I think that the actual casting of electoral votes is merely symbolic. Bush has won, and he has won. Kerry conceded, so what say do the Democrats have in it?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the electoral college meet mid-December to cast their votes and they just don't formally anounce it till Jan.?

Anyway... I voted for George W. because he was the better candidate. He's good for America, and he doesn't bow to the whims of everyone that tries to push him around!

I love America... God has truly blessed her, and she has shared her wealth time and again! I'm also thankful for her (true) allies!!!

Michael Moore even stated than Kerry lost. How sad it is for the democratic party when Moore becomes the voice of reason for the party.

Good one!

The thing is that we had Jesse Jackson here in Columbus to protest all of the voting irregularities. Kerry called for the country to come together and they can't even do that. They keep coming in and bashing our next governor, Ken Blackwell.

All this does is insure another republican sweep in 2006.

I'm curious what you mean by sweep. I haven't seen the republicans sweeping anything lately.

If you get a chance to talk to Tom Dashle or John Kerry, they will tell you that Broom was a mighty big one!

Only kidding. Hope everything is going O.K. for you in school. This is your last year, isn't it? Man, if it is you are going to miss that drum line.

In the 2004 election, the republicans won the presidency. added more republican congressmen and now have a 55-44-1 majority in the senate. Five more republican senators means a 60-39-1 majority and no filibusters. W could nominate anyone for anything and they'd get confirmed.
