O Christmas Tree!

Does it make anybody else angry to see all of the Christmas decorations up too much past the Holiday? Why are people so lazy about their lights? We had a neighbor keep his lights up all year!
Nothing quite like junior finding an Easter egg under the Nativity. Happy Mother's day mom, you'll find your GAP old gift card under that 6 foot stick with pine needles surronding it. Let's just hope that they put a dimmer on the outside lights, so they could turn them down for the fireworks on July 4th.

I understand that most people will wait until the weather is warmer. If you do, at least turn your decorations off! You don't have to wait until it is "warm enough" to do that.

not really sure how this coincides with the TSF but... i do agree tho... i mena yes i will admit i too have an outside white spiral christmas tree in my living room and one or two other christmas decorations up such as center pieces. but this is only because i have no other place to put them in my apartment. but yes i do agree tho... actually.. isn't it illegal to have a christmas tree in sight all decorated up after 1/14 i think. i forget... but i know somewhere some state it IS illegal to have some sort of christmasy like decorations up after the holiday

I actually put christmas lights all around my room. Provides perfect ambient light, plus it is very relaxing. My neighbors still have their lights up, doesn't really bother me though.

-= no walla outlet

-= stupid friends!

so maybe it was best to opt out of that idea for now

I think its more irritating when people put decorations up a month and a half before the holiday, sure thats when marketing for the holiday is which is outragous, lets market Thanksgiving when its Halloween says mister CEO of some store, but i do agree its also ridiculous to leave decorations up too long

Well I can tell you that growing up catholic my parents would keep their decorations up until epiphany. That is the day the three wise men made it to the manger.

There should be a law instated that declares when to put up and take down your holiday decorations.

Mine are still buried under 5' of snow. Maybe if I turn them on the snow will melt.
