Hi Gistek

With your interest in Search & Rescue, I thought you would like to see a (poor) mugshot of the Air-Sea-Rescue Pinnace "1387" I was the Marine Wireless Operator on 1387 & 1386 at 1104 MCU, RAF Bridington in 1960!

She holds the record for the fastest rescue of a downed Aircrew. During a 'wet winching' excersize, a chopper (a Westland Wessex) flew into her mast, taking the mast off & removing the rotors from the chopper. Helicopters cant fly without rotors! It hit the water about 10 feet from the boat!
