An Oregon woman who is out $400,000 after falling for a well-known Internet scam says she wasn't a sucker or an easy mark.

yep it could happen to anyone but in this case with so much info out there about this scam, its amazing that anyone would fall for it -- especially for that amount...

Her family and bank officials both tried to warn her...just because she said she wasn't a sucker doesn't make the statement true. She clearly was an easy mark for falling so completely for this well known scam.

I used to reply to these. I would start out by saying what a stupid (insert explitives to make sailor blush).

I would then say...if you are going to run a scam you should at least have a good working knowledge of the english language. Why don't you spend all this spare time you seem to have by going back to school, and this time try paying attention....

OK she first sent $100 so why didn't she cut her losses!!! Why go as far as $400,000???
