Re: Mahna Mahna

I must admit, a return of 'The Muppet Show' is waaaay past overdue

Oh, I've also got the Muppets 'Mah-Nah' 7" single in my cupboard

Agreed, in principle, but you just KNOW they're going to turn it into some lame CGI-laden feeble joke fest. This in itself makes me in favour of leaving it in the 70s so those of us that want to remember it can do. A repeat showing of the original episodes has got to be worth a punt though, surely?

Re: Mahna Mahna

I'm not sure about the use of CGI, the company still produces puppets and 'furry-things' for use in films and TV series.

I definitely agree about a re-run of the originals though, there were some excellent guests appearing back then.

If you're really suffering from 'MWS' (Muppets Withdrawal Symptoms), there's lots of clips of the best bits on 'YouTube' that can help alleviate the symptoms

Classic!

"What was that?"

"It's called the 'Medium Sketch'"

"The 'Medium Sketch'?"

"Yes. It wasn't rare, and it certainly wasn't well done!"
