credit card help [moved from Announcements forum]

I just got a new credit card, and I was supposed to pay a $15.00 fee September 1st, but I can't pay it cause the site won't let the payment go through. It says a payment is already in progress, but that payment was canceled cause I messed up on my bank account numbers when I typed them in.

I owe $1,200.00, but I have most of that money, and I was just wondering what could happen if I don't get that $15.00 fee in soon?

Re: credit card help

The automated systems will likley kick in and they will start the hounding process. I'd call the number on the back of the card and have them solve the problem

Re: credit card help

I just called and they said I can't pay the fee until next month. Guess I am off the hook.

I can't pay anything on the card right now. I was going to pay $900.00, but I can't cause nothing will go through until I try again next month.

Thanks for your help.

I see all the options you took a screenshot of, but the Mark this thread as solved isn't on the list.

Re: [Solved] credit card help

The 'Mark this thread as solved' option is not available in the Comments & Announcements forum because problems are not usually posted here. I've changed the thread title manually.

Re: [Solved] credit card help

Does anything go against me if I don't pay my bill for a while? I am looking for a new car and just found one, but I don't have the money unless I only pay the minimum for my credit card, and pay it off later. I will always pay the minimum each month, but I don't know what will happen if anything if I don't pay the whole thing off right away.

Re: credit card help [moved from Announcements forum]

if nothing else, pay the minimum - other wise, you will get hit with a late fee, higher interest rates for this card and any other card you may have or may get later.
