Radio Transmiter

Anyone remember in some old black & white movies at the start there was a radio tower with Morse code?

I need a pic of that tower if anyone can remember the movie company who used it.

Thanks

R C A

Radio Corporation of America

(We wireless telegraphists are now redundant - back in the late 50s early 60s I used to bash out morse at 35wpm...no one uses morse anymore for real. )

Re: Radio Transmiter

Brilliant!

Thanks for posting the link JS.

He was using a 'bug' key, also known as a 'sideswipe' key. Capable of higher speed than a convential up/down key. My guess was that he was sending at about 20 WPM - not bad at all!
