What happened to aolsucks.com?
I remember going there one day and it was totally gone. You'll get an error if you try to go there now.
I remember reading the site and it's creator had a legal threats section and was sent numerous legal threats from aol citing "harrassment"(because they didn't let AOL put a response on his page "libel" (totally baseless, none of it was untrue) and "copyright infringment" (because he used some of aol's images, like the logo, though he was within his fair use rights) I've been reading that there is trend now for companies to buy domain names that could be used for negative publicity of them. And Aol may have bought that domain name, but how did they take it away from the legitimate owner? I know a friend of mine who had her domain stolen probably because she stopped paying for the hosting, I went to the site and it was something totally different then what it was before, is this the only way to steal a domain from someone? By the way, when do you think, if ever AOL will be totally dead, that is zero, not a single subscriber? Not that they could survive on a single subscribed anyway, but I heard they have 9.7 million members right now. I've been online since August of 93 back on Prodigy, and back then they only had a little over a million subscribers. |

I remember being a frequent visitor to that site. It's a shame it's fallen off the Interwebs.
