I used to work in a hospital, and they don't use suicide victims' organs for transplant (certainly not here in the UK). By the time the police have investigated (in cases of a sudden death, even an obvious suicide, the police MUST investigate), and then there's been the obligatory post mortem (again, a must in a case of sudden death, and indeed, an integral part of the police investigation), the organs are in no condition to be used for transplant.

The first husband didn't die until 4 days later. He'd been on life support. They probably harvested the heart then.
