The following illusion will spin, depending upon which side of your brain you use the most, it could be either spinning left or right. In addition if you stare at it long enough, it will change directions. If you blink a few times, it will change directions. Is it doing anything for you?

Alternately, if you stare at the shadow then back up, it changes directions.

From an overhead perspective it's going clock-wise.

I can only see her spinning clockwise. I can't see her pushing herself round though, how does she keep spinning?

its weird the way it works. I cheated and opened the gif up in psp animations shop and it only goes one direction.

This is what I think:
You can't define whether she's actually going clockwise or anticlockwise. It depends on which leg the observer perceives to be toward them and which leg they perceive to be away from them. Same goes for hands.

Yes, that's what I meant. Some people will perceive her right leg to be on the ground, while some will perceive her left leg to be on the ground.

If you all post which leg is raised, you'll see everyone has a different reply. Please post which leg you see as raised. Some people will be able to view the image both the ways.
