Lions kills Giraffe

Lions are Africa's top predators, throughout the past 70 years scientists and wildlife film makers have been trying relentlessly to film a lion making a Giraffe kill, but to no avail. But not so long ago,a British Family on safari catches video of lions taking down a giraffe. In other news, their young girls can't deal with Mother Nature.

Re: Lion kills Giraffe

Yeah, that's nature. every lion kill takes place on a highway with three cars within 20 yards. My BS meter just went off.

Giraffe-killing lions exploit paved roads

Quote:
It is widely reported that lions have learnt that giraffes are disadvantaged when forced onto paved roads: they apparently run slower, get less traction, and are hence easier to bring down.

Evolution at work?

There was the croc who killed a shark by dragging it out of the water and now this.

Re: Lion kills Giraffe

I wonder how long it will be before evolution teaches giraffes to get their hooves tyred and treaded....
