SPAMMING

The definitions of spamming are endless but the most common appears to be "to indiscriminately send unsolicited, unwanted, irrelevant, or inappropriate messages, especially commercial advertising in mass quantities". TSF provides a free service to users who need assistance and as such it is forbidden to advertise products, services, or web sites in order to derive personal benefit, either directly or indirectly. We have an advertising forum where selected advertisements may be placed. You may also NOT place affiliate, live or dead links for purposes of advertising or for any other purpose (other than when assisting a user) in any post or in your signature. NOTE: Citing free support at your own or another forum is not a mitigation for having a live or dead link to such a forum in your signature.

Re: Spam

BBCode = Bulletin Board Code - basically formatting code used on forums/boards and nowhere else.

examples include (take out the spaces when you use them)

[ b ]bold[ / b ]
[ i ]italic[ / i ]
[ u ]undernline[ / u ]

anyways, if you use the advanced reply as opposed to the quick reply, it has all these buttons on top of the text area that you can press and they generate bbcode for you

Re: Spam

The exact code to post things depends on the bb software. There are some other boards I goto, and their code is different, so you just need to notice how it's done as you post things in the advanced post section.

Re: Spam

For that, I'll refer you to the TSF FAQ for it: http://www.techsupportforum.com/misc.php?do=bbcode
