Covering Letter / CV, quick question

So I'm going to be dropping in a Covering Letter and my CV today at a certain store.

I was just wondering should I bob them in a plastic sleeve or evelope, or should i just hand them in as they are?

I'm planning on giving them to the supervisor or manager.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Covering Letter / CV, quick question

It's best in an envelope, ideally with the manager's name printed on the front - otherwise addressed as:

The Manager (or manager's name)
Shop Name
Shop address
postcode

Good luck with the application

Re: Covering Letter / CV, quick question

If you look at the top of the thread-page, you'll see a button marked 'Thread Tools'. I think the 'Thread Originator' (you) can close the thread from there

Re: Covering Letter / CV, quick question

Aahhh, try PM'ing one of the Mods to explain how. I did read it somewhere, but I can't remember where it was, now - too much Guinness

Re: Covering Letter / CV, quick question

Thats right, but you can mark them solved. Which helps when someone is scanning through for a thread to help with.

Re: Covering Letter / CV, quick question

AHAHH!! That was it!!! To mark threads 'Solved', rather than closed. Sorry, a slight case of 'Multi-Forum Usage Confusion'
