definatly, i thought the books were brillaint not to keen on the davinci code, but i thought angels and deamons and deception point were brilliant.

cant wait for the release of angels and deamons film i doubt the vatican not allowing them to film in churches will make much diffrence on the release theyl just spend millions on re-creating the sets in a studio etc.

Didn't read DaVinci Code, but Angel and Demons struck me as a bit childish... I mean, -everything- happens within 24 hours and the girl is half-naked from start to finish, etc... many many logical plot holes in there.

seriously, I listened to it and it was pretty good, not sure if it would make a good movie though. I do agree there are some logic problems in the book. Especially the fall from the helicopter without a chute.

As far as the DaVinci Code, I was very disappointed with the movie. They made too many changes in the movie. Stuff I really liked in the book was changed in the movie.

I started to read A&D after I'd read TDC and to tell the truth - I couldn't tell them apart. It seemed to me they were basically the same book. And Deception Point (is that the one where they find something below the ice???) was just bad.

Like most mass market books today the characters are too smart, too good looking, too skilled, too lucky, ...etc. "Oh cr@p I have to jump out of this helicopter. Good thing I have this piece of fabric so I can make a parachute." GMAB
