Beggar donates to Sichuan
![]() This picture, taken in Guangzhou, China, shows a crippled beggar donating money to a Sichuan donation center (for those of you who are not good with Chinese names, Sichuan is the place where the earthquake happened). Apparently, the first time he showed up, he asked a cop to put the money in for him, but the staff put the box on the floor for him instead. He put an estimated 40 RMB dollars in the box. A few days later, he came again, donating about 10 RMB dollars more, and someone took a picture of him donating the money. Re: Beggar donates to Sichuan
Hi Karusho,
This looks like it may have been an interesting post but that "translate this page" thing is about as good as the malaysian instructions we get with most of our appliances etc. I sometimes think, maybe there is an opportunity to make some money doing proper translations, but then i realise that if we could understand these instructions, perhaps we could stop our appliances etc from malfunctioning and therefore it would be longer before we had to replace them. Doesn't take much working out, does it? Sorry mate but........wasted thread.
