I never did understand why in areas with high tornado incidence the houses are made out of wood.
If anyone paid any notice to the three little pigs, wouldn't it be better to make them out of bricks/ stone or concrete?

bricks/stone or concrete cannot hold up to the force of nature either - especially tornadoes. Some tornadoes are so strong, they will rip the concrete off the roads.

so why build near tornado zones in the first place? it's just like those people who live in california in the earthquake zone. as soon as i can, i'm moving out of vancouver to a safer place.
