Driver calls 911 to report she can't unlock her car doors. The operator discovered the call was coming from INSIDE the car.

This happened in Vegas about 3 years ago as well... she was in her brand new BMW as well... she wasn't blonde or old (early thirties) BUT did sue the police dept when they sent her a bill

technology to make life easier it turning people into nitwits. It makes you wonder what would happen if there was ever some sort of world wide electrical interference that destroyed all computer chips.

My car has automatic locks when you put the key into accessory mode. My mom's Civic locks up after you hit 8Mph (You should see what happens when you hit 88.8Mph!). Both allows you to simply (get this) pull the door handle to get out.
