Re: Has TSF Helped you?

I posted my problem in 3 diferent websites and noone seemed to bother looking at my topic and then a day after I bumped my topics on all 3 I got a response from Jason09 and then from Freenerd, I was glad someone cared enough to help many thanks to them both. My problem was solved.

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

I used to post on other websites, but 99% of them ate a bowl of stupid for lunch and have no clue what you asking.
Like my question about the starting problem I have with my Blazer, thanks to this place I have narrowed it down to the battery and on a website FOR S-10 Blazers, I was told that it was junk and couldn't be fixed.

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

tsf is legit, people here always think about your specific issue and try to help you solve it, and understand what is happening and what options you might have.

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

I've started two threads and both have been clarified.

Thread 1: I got some clarification from another member regarding malicious links being sent through MSN.
Thread 2: Couldn't connect to the internet, so I just bought a new one which worked: the older one had died.

But I had a 'SQLDUMPER failed to initialize' window pop up every time I booted my laptop. Rather than start a new thread here, I searched through some older ones, found a solution, and implemented it on the laptop. It worked . No more pop up window.

Cheers

If TSF is only normal & adequate where else do you find the same quality help and friendly advice ???

I Forget the name of that store right now and it's normally on the tip of my tongue ..

Was it Geek Squad?? .. No I don't think so!!
There was another company that was always in the news and everybody was taking their equipment there to get it fixed by the experts. I think we even had a few members (some were TSF staff too!) untill they realised that thjey were better off out of there ..

never mind, we are just normal and adequate ...

EEK! Re: Has TSF Helped you?

When say "normal" I do not address my opinion to statiscal appreciaton, but to concrete phenomenological perception. With respect of what are you talking about "a store", I have to recognize that I do not know what's the point. I received a mail saying that I had one in this forum, between the usual many ones, and I answered from heart. Sorry but I have a very huge horizont in my current life, and I like to disclose good comments when I do not feel as a present issue, anything wrong everywhere. It is not "just" normal and adequate, it's a generic appreciation of the matter if I do not have concrete reasons on the contrary. Friendly regards. If you are so kind to clarify me if you are referring to a particular issue (the "store"), I will be deeply thankful and, perhaps could disclose a more straight comment. Regards again.

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

My sincerest apologies I did not know until now that you are NOT a native user of the English Language and I was teasing you, in (I hope) a freindly way, about your statement.

you make it sound like our forum is just one of thousands that do the exact same thing in exactly same way as all the others.
Our work , you imply is nothing special and covers the minimum needs of the questions being answered.

ie NORMAL & ADEQUATE.

perhaps in your own mind these adjectives conjure up a totally different picture to the one that goes through my mind when I read that phrase.

But whether it does or not is irrelevent since it's your opinion and you should stick by it.

with sincerest apologies for my remarks and I hope one day you will give us a better grading which of course will depend upon our treatment of you here.

Idea Re: Has TSF Helped you?

I give you the best because when everybody says "normal", worldwide... it "could" mean ordinary, if one is thinking statistically; but myself and every hypercritic guy as I am, is thinking on the, I repeat, the "phenomeological view point", that means that the issue is very much appreciated inside the field. For example, statiscally, envy is "normal" (18 in 20 are envious), but phenomenologically is very abnormal. A very clever and intelectually addressed guy who works in a butchery is very "abnormal"; a stupid and liar murder as president, the same. Do you, now, follow me? Sorry for being a very demanding person in matter of any well understood language in the deep use of words. The difference in vernacular languages does not delete the meaning of words. Obviously I am straight USA type speaking when asking for help, but now you are asking for an opinion.
Sincere friendly regards and thanks for this sort of fugitive chatting.

I just hope I don't browse through aby of your threads since you are wayyy out of my league
