Re: Has TSF Helped you?

Doctors should prescribe TSFs Offline section as a cure for ADD instead of Ritalin.

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

I personally have never seen a website so ready to help,
I don't know what I would have done without TSF.

Evil Re: Has TSF Helped you?

TSF has not helped me on the last two threads I have posted. I got no replies on my CD and DVD playback problem and only two on my last one on "permission to access shared files & folders" neither of which helped. My impression is that new postings get looked at quickly but if there is not a ready solution then there is no follow-up and they just sit there.

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

well, I'm sure you can't solve everyones problems, but for a free site, with a minimum of adds, and no pop ups, what more can you expect.

I think the place is great

so far,,,,,

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

I found this site when I googled like 50 problems and the results to all my problems kept redirecting me to the TSF forums!!
So, I joined and now I skip the middleman.
This site has some AMAZING moderators with A LOT of knowledge on everyday as well as complex problems.
I have done many wonderful things since the start of my registration here.

i read it on slashdot, there is a guy that estimated in 1999 that spyware/adware/viruses will bring the internet to an unusable state in 2006.

now he still says 2006 will be accurate.

i can go find the article. even if it isn't true, it's worth thinking about.

edit: ok, i was wrong, in 2001 he gave it 5 years.

3 years later he still says 2006.

here is the article: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20041018-4318.html
I guess it didn't happen.

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

Absolutely! Helped me figure out a problem with my drivers that it would have taken me days if not weeks to figure out. TSF helped me figure it out in less than 24 hrs!

Re: Has TSF Helped you?

Love the forum! Helped so many times. I have donated an item from Jason's wish list, but I haven't got a response back from the PM I sent him. Is there anyway to confirm my donation etc.?
