Re: TV Calibration Is A Total Scam

I calibrated my Mitsubishi shortly after buying it and now the picture is great! What CCV is doing is a pure scam as real calibrators use specialized hardware to achieve optimum results.

I believe any extra service cc tries to sell you in addition to the product is nothing but a scam. When I have time to kill I like going into cc and listen to the lies they tell their customers. Every once in a while I hear good advise.

I have a better place , The Costco store in my town, HDTV department , listening to a store clerk explaining to a lady 480 , 720 , and 1080 .Basicaly he was saying vague stuff ,not accurate.
I almost laughed out loud , i had to run away and hide before they see me smiling.
They should give them a decent training , because it's just not right.

Re: TV Calibration Is A Total Scam

I heard a story about a dude who was in a CompUSA and overheard a horribly inept "advisor" talking to someone about a PC. After hearing more crap than he could handle he jumped in and gave the customer the correct information. The customer was very pleased but decided not to make a purchase anyway. The "advisor's" supervisor saw this, fired him, and hired the dude who schooled him.

It makes me remember years ago when I was in a Wal-Mart and overheard an employee tell a customer that Gameboy Color would not play regular Gameboy games. What a joke!

Re: TV Calibration Is A Total Scam

years ago when I worked at walmart, I got written up because I helped a customer with a mouse problem and the store lost a sale. The problem was a dirty mouse/mouse pad.
