FLORES MAN

It sounds too incredible to be true, but this is not a hoax. A species of tiny human has been discovered, which lived on the remote Indonesian island of Flores just 18,000 years ago.

I heard about it, too -- from someone who told me that they found real Hobbits on an island

I can't find it now, but I saw an article mentioning mini-animals (horse? elephant?) too. I'm not quite sure what to make of it, either.

Next thing, they will be unearthing evidence of the Lollipop Guild!

This is not an "ancient" find, either. 18,000 years is pretty recent.
