Anyway, this is, again, for school. As TSF is the only forum I invest a lot of my resources (mainly: time) in, I decided to ask here. Anyway, the object is to design a retail space within a larger shopping area (ie. department store). The displayed objects will be related to home decor (ie. the Sears Home Line, or something like that, as they're apparently sponsoring this contest in Canada). All elements are flexible. I'm not asking anyone here to do the design for me, I just want to know what ideas, and things of that sort, that you guys may have. Any help will be appreciated (as the title says). Thanks in advance!

Here is one idea:
1. You can buy the sims 2, this is an interactive game that you make a family and you can designa house or a room or a department store.. other examples for deparment store ideas are expantion packs. the two with the department stores are sims 2 open for buisness or H and M fashion. I strongly suggest H and M fashion. You can make a department store These expanision pacts come with cash registers, and shelfs and clothing to put out.. hope this works ansd i think this works very well for you

umm... a game with ghosts, aliens, and clowns? no thanks. I love that game, but I'd rather have some real-life advice (no offense intended!)

I have the sims 2. Also: it's NOT a game. It's a contest for Canadian High Schools, sponsored by Sears.
