MCP Win2kPro?

Is it worth while guys? So far I have had 2 WICKED headaches... they accept newbies in the class too, and they teachers teach classes like Desktop Publishing, and Computer Applications... so my mind is being bombarded with 1982 Movies about computers that make reading rainbow look fabulously written and directed. So if it's worthy it I'll stick through all the wannabe knowitalls in the back and probably first 2 weeks of cushioning everyone into computing

(just an FYI, someone asked my teacher how big the computer harddrives were going to be and she answered with hand gestures about physical dimensions)

While its always better to get a teacher that actually knows something outside the text book, if at all possible from practical experience ..... sometimes your gonna have to deal with the :knob: teachers that have absolutely no idea what their doing outside of the lesson plan ...

Its no fun, true... but all the certifications you can get will only help you,

Iv never heard of anyone being turned down a job because they had to many certifications. :D

IMHO Stick with the class and try not to laugh at the teacher to much. :)

I guess I'll go check eBay for a portable CD player... mine crapped out... brand new batteries and headphones... not a scratch on the CD, but all it does is spin the CD.... no music :(

Valiant, I've gotta say getting the certs, in any field, is a wise move. When I turned wrenches the more ASE certs I had the more/hr flat rate I got. Auto repair was OK, but as I got older, I thought can I do this in to retirement. Now after getting the two yr degree in Comp Tech, all the Emp.s want experience and certs. I'm going to restudy, take the A+s, I'm in MCSE classes need a voucher for first cert in two weeks. The instructor is into Win2k and knows it well but not the other systems it seems. What I'm doing now does not earn the bucks. I still trying for the Comp tech field, but I'm also applying auto mech jobs too. It's dirty, heavy, chemical laden work but good money. Lordy, lordy I'm forty (what next and how to get there?) Any way hope it gets better.:smash:
