LOL 300Mhz processor and 128MB of RAM. But that was way beyond my wildest dreams when I started. The first machine I built was a Tangerine. Os was in 1kB. BUT, games written in machine code were just as fast as modern games. Graphics was pretty simplistic though.

It's a virtual reality machine!! It also has 3D wavetable sound...
Some games are hundreds and hundreds of megabytes! I can't watch anymore of this!!

back then the normal speed for hard drives was 5400 RPM or even 4200, which is nearly 1/2 of 10k
