Role Playing

How many people here played or still play games like AD&D or Rifts, etc. I played alot well I was in high school but no that I am married I dont have time to play anymore. And did anyone play by the book or did you and your friend make up you own adventures and crusades.

Never played the PnP, unless you count the Wizards and Warriors books, and I think GreyWolf was the other one. I still have they somewheres. Other then that, computer ones. Started with Pool of Raidance, have I think 9 AD&D games simalar to that. Have Baldur's Gate 1 & 2. I would really like to play NeverWinter Nights. It's supposed to be really good. But don't have the money or time for it.

I've done both... and if I have my way this year I'll go back to doing both... I played D&D and Shadowrun... as well as everything from Final Fantasy1 on up the line eventually branching into PC's a little after the popularity of Myst died down.

I played paper DnD when I was in the military. As far as rules we changed them a little, especially the level restrictions for non-human races. Sometimes we played pre-made modules and other times we took turns creating our own adventure.
