Need anti-spam software for non-mapi types too
Anyone aware of software that will block (or better yet, kick it back in there miserable faces!) spam from e-mail software for proprietary types, like Juno or AOL users? They won't give up their pop-3 info and threaten you with legal action if you were to try to use something to block spam like what's been described in the previous posts.
I don't want to just block it or divert spam into a folder. I'd like to find a program that does for e-mail what the "Telezapper" does to telemarketers. Something that tells them my e-mail address is no longer valid or active, meaning they'll eventually remove it from their mailing list. How about it? Anyone know of anything that will do that? If not, the need is there, you developer types! Make it happen and the world will beat a path to your door (so to speak). CR |

The only software I am aware of for this is mail washer, http://www.mailwasher.net
They are currently working on adding support for Hotmail and AOL. Hotmail support should be here this month and AOL support shortly thereafter.
