Meniers Logo

@Jtp

I suffer from Meniers Disease (Sever rotational vertigo which is totally debilitating when it hits with little warning)

For any other sufferer, I have found an official logo that was on a French website.

Re: Meniers Logo

I have a friend who has had disorientation due to the middle ear. Apparently his is caused by a build up of crystals in the ear canal which when they move in the fluid, mess up the body's orientation recognition. He said that he was given an uncommon procedure by which, if you flick the head in a certain way it moves all the crystals to a corner where they become trapped and cause no problems.
I don't know if this is in any way related to your problems.

I remember learning that some of the best anti-sickness medication was developed for people with inner ear disorientation, as it can be truly nauseating and inescapable.

Sorry to hear you suffer, Donnald. It must be quite difficult to plan for a normal life, when you don't know when you will be crippled by dizziness. I had a period when I had frequent nose bleeds, and I found it worrying enough to maintain a normal lifestyle not knowing when I would be embarrassed by lots of blood falling out of my nose like a 7yr old (hardly a professional image!).

Re: Meniers Logo

Thanks for the link mimo...

Fortunately, I get about 15 minutes warning and have been allowed to drive again. I'm on anti-vertigo medication that seems to help...

It is a wierd ailment & would not visit it on anyone. Although it has the tag disease, it is a problem involving the inner ear. Some medics believe it to be caused by a virus. I dunno...

Maybe I ought to consult the TSF Surgical Team Dr Sinc et al?
