Its no different than banning someone from a store because they shoplifted music, movies, software and such.

I see nothing wrong with that, if you are a thief by illegally downloading music, movies, software and such without paying for them, then you deserve to get your internet cut off. I have absolutely no pity for thieves.

I agree, but will they ever be able to stop it all? And at what cost to everyone else.
