I was going to go this year, but its just another fest imho. I mean i go to a lot of fests every year anyways. The okotber fest in my eyes is just a fest that ends all fests for generally after the fest nothign really happens until may or so, well town kerbs are always going on but those are more local things.

I can drive up to Fredericksburg, TX. for some REAL Oktoberfesting. It's one of the largest German towns here in Texas and is quite proud of its heritage.
