An observation, kinda ironic (kinda mature)

This topic is a bit mature I did my best to G rate it as much as posssible.

Last weekend I went to a fest, my buddy was a offical stick boy (basically he drinks for 5 days because its fun and its his towns kerb (birthday if you will)) i wanted to start off with him. So anyways I go there looking to drink and hve a good time right. No girls no nothing I just wanna drink and have fun.

Well sometime in between the time I get there and some time later I got a girl in my arms no idea who she is or where she came from but hey I do, well we hook up for the night and have a general good time.

Now heres the ironic part of the story, everytime I look for a girl for either fun or reletionship I FAIL at it. Sometimes I get close sometimes it just doesn't happen, hwoever hte past 3 times that i've seriously been with a girl it has happened out of the blue as in I went to the pub/party/fest simply looking to drink, play pool, joke around and generally have a time out with the boys.

I was just wondering does this happen to the rest of yall failry often? As in when you want a girl you don't find it, but when you could care less it pops up?

Erm, well I think I know what i'ma do next time i'm looking for some fun and action.

Toss in the back of my mind and have a general good time and not care about picking up chicks. It seems to work for me.

Probably means people don't like you when you are sober.

Drinking loosens you up a bit and you can more yourself, as opposed to being shy/scared/however you are sober.

Re: An observation, kinda ironic (kinda mature)

Taking the observation to its logical conclusion, a happily married man would be least likely to be looking for women, and so he should be absolutely surrounded in them.

I think there must be more to this.

It's like a cat chasing its tail. As long as the cat's trying to catch it the tail will "run away". When he decides not to care and walks away it will follow.

When you're just out to enjoy yourself you're more relaxed. When you're looking for a girl, you're worried about not getting one.

I dom't know about you guys, but the two years I spent in Germany, the women came to me constantly. Without my trying, might have been the military thing, definately not my looks. Only came across one who wanted to marry and go state side. Had heard nightmare stories before I left. Glad it wasn't true. I loved Germany and will go back one day when I can afford it. What does a truck driver make there anyway?

I must agree there.....

But from my observations, the good looking ones don't pick the nerds or whatnot, they go for the drunks/slackers/partiers......
