I'm using the ones that came with my system and they work fine. Some day it'll be optical connections or something. Or maybe nice coaxial. Less signal noise there.

They're for the guy who's got $100K speakers (yes they do make some) hooked up to $50K worth of electronics. Do they sound better than ordinary cables? Could he tell them apart in a real testing environment (ie: he doesn't know which cable he's hearing at any given moment) - doubtful. Who cares! For his $7K he gets the knowledge that he's got only the best. And that does matter to some people. After all sound is all in the brain anyway. Personally, I think its loco.

My uncle uses these when they pack for bands its so the quality does not get distorted when you go up in volume alot
