Drive your car to death, save $31,000
By keeping your car for 200,000 miles or more, you can save the money of buying a new car.

Re: Drive your car to death, save $31,000
I wouldn't want to drive a car that old... lol. I'd sell it at least to keep my pride...
PS I think Japan paid off Consumer Reports... They always have nothing but good things to say about Honda, Lexus, Toyota etc. :D |

Re: Drive your car to death, save $31,000
I didn't know Fords (other than trucks) or Lincolns lasted so long... However, 200k doesn't even begin to compare with what this guy got on his Volvo P1800: http://www.worldcarfans.com/5060620....th-anniversary That's right. Two and a half million miles.

Ford crown victoria and lincoln towncar share the same engine/same parts. ![]() Crown vic ![]() lincoln Towncar Both are used by car services (limo/taxi) for their strength and reliability . An average cab in NYC can go easily 800K
