Verizon Offers Customers Same Rate For Life

NEW YORK (AP) - Verizon wants to lock its customers in for life. The company is offering customers the chance to pay the same rate for its high speed broadband service every month for life. Verizon says those who sign up for the service with a two-year commitment will pay the same monthly base-rate as long as they keep the service over a Verizon line. The rate ranges from about $15 to just under $28 a month, depending on the speed of the DSL connection.

They suck. I totally hate them. Their service is deplorable.

Re: Verizon Offers Customers Same Rate For Life

With the TWIBAT they've pulled on my family in the last two months, they'd have to pay me for me to consider using any of their services again.

First they refused to work with me to find an affordable cell plan. I was a cell customer with them for 6 or 7 years, but my needs recently changed.

Then they hijacked our long distance.

Then, instead of sending me a final bill for my cell service when I discontinued, they sent me very rudely worded overdue notices within two weeks of the end of service. Within 1 month of discontinuing my cell plan they turned my remainder over to a collection agency, so now I'm getting bill collector TWIBAT. When I discontinued I told them I would have difficulty paying right away because of financial problems beyond my control, but they refuse to work with me.
