Red Cross sued over its - Red cross!



J&J, one of the largest drug makers in the world has sued the Red Cross over its use of one of the most famous symbols in the world - the red cross.

What? How lame. Their name is Red Cross, so if they have to remove the image then what will they be called? Invisible Cross? Red Cross lol? Hidden Red Cross?

as far as i know..Johnson&Johnson never had a Red cross as their logo..

wasnt J&J's logo thier name in curly writing and something on a little sheild?? or is that only in AUS??

still for having grownup using J&J products..i've lost SO much respect for them right now..

Wasn't there a story about some guy names Bill Gates not being able to call his web site BillGates.com or maybe it was a guy named McDonald not being able to call his pub McDonald's...

I do know that basketball coach Pat Reilly copywrited the term for when a two time REPEAT champion attempts to win THREE in a row. I'd say it, but then TSF would have to shell out some $ to Mr. Reilly...

Actually no... J&J has had the red cross on their packages and trademarked LONG before the red cross came to be...

J&J gave the red cross permission to use the cross as long as the activities did not included doing money makeing activities.
