Been away and was called off to a few emergencies, but I had tested this game on 3 systems and surprise surprise!
The game runs easier and furthest on slow-er computers with higher scores but with lower rank. Test 1: P4 2800MHz @ 3600MHz Test 2: X2 BE-2350 @ 2800Mhz Test 3: QX6850 @ 4000MHz Test 4: X2 BE-2350 @ 1100MHz On the first one, I was hitting the previous score range before the 16th, hit 111m last I think with a rank of ~42,000. On the 16th I moved places where I was given the next two systems for use. On both of the next two systems, the game was MIGHTY fast! It is very difficult to control or get past 60m. Each dip and glide was very short and fast in comparison to the first. Getting past the first wall on a relatively fast system was much more difficult. On the slower systems the game offered a few "tricks" which were not available for the faster system. The trick is what gets you a score in excess of 106m - the first wall has an area at the top and bottom which when targeted lets the plane straight through and avoids any flips (larger end distance). That was only available on a slower system. ![]() Then I timed the play this morning when I got back as I had done on the 22nd with one. I can pretty much control where and how I throw it now. Test 1: 95m reached in 45 seconds > rank around 115,000 Test 2: 97m reached in 25 seconds > rank around 43,000 Test 3: 98m reached in 20 seconds > rank around 28,000 Test 4: 98m reached in 42 seconds > rank around 113,000 Compare those to the distance/rank of all my previously attached screenshots, which were played on the P4 2800MHz @ 3600MHz. Attached is the score/rank I received the day I was able to get online; 22/July. As you see with only 98m, rank is around 12,000 higher than that given to me on a slower/easier computer with 111m distance. ![]() Therefore, this gameplay does vary from system to system. ![]() |
