Re: What's your Vista Score?
Ye gonna be dangerously overclocked. Also raid 0 is overrated...surprised it gave a performance increase.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
Here's mine. Lowest is my CPU, which is a low-end first gen Pentium Dual Core CPU overclocked by about 44%.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
I think mine is a 5.3 being held back by my old HDD.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
Just how stable have SSD's been proven to be?

Re: What's your Vista Score?
I was thinking about SSD's.
Here is the main problem with SSD's. They have a set write limit. After that (usually 256,000 writes or so) you can no longer do writes. You can read, however. That's why you can't use it for anything but your boot drive.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
Interesting. Sounds like a nice alternative for a fast system start.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
The problem is that Windows insists on its page file being in C:\, the boot drive (at least to my understanding), and thus it will be reading and writing from the SSD constantly if used as the boot. For *nix based systems like Linux, BSD, and Mac OSX, though, the swap drive is its own partition and can be located on a different drive.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
In Windows you can set the swap to another drive.
