Can't honestly say yet, sorry. Biggest hint is in the background.
2CPUs by the way. |

Re: What's your Vista Score?
You know, anyone working for such affiliated agencies would never admit it, don't you?
I'm just a simple off the shelf guy, really. :p Those chips in the background are Q1 08 launch 45nm by the way. |

Re: What's your Vista Score?
Ah well, professional duty comes first especially where it involves the lives of many and my personal career commitments. I have a few side jobs and responsibilities, all but two of which I'm the boss of, so very flexible. ;)
I do have an interesting main job though, quite exciting although too erratic for most. I almost forgot 90% of the knowledge about Windows XP computing in the last 9 weeks, which is nothing new in my history. Still weak on it at the moment but it's coming back... slowly. |

Re: What's your Vista Score?
100% true.
Life's different where you learn compendiums worth inside a given time and have to focus on crucial tasks requiring 100% focus for a while and when leave your common tasks and daily routines aside. The only way you remember something is through repetition, a stimulus or lack of doing anything else, and when those conditions are not met, you forget. I haven't used Windows since around 26th July and was given a system to install Windows around 27th of this month, and it BSoD. Had absolutely no clue what to do till yesterday after reading up. And am still struggling to install the graphics. It's nothing new, happens every year where a major assignment comes along. |

Re: What's your Vista Score?
My current system scored a 5.4 with some overclocking. My 3850 even o/c bought it down a bit with a 5.6/5.4.My CPU is at 5.5. My mem got a 5.8 and HDD got a 5.6...all in all not bad for a system that is headin towards retirement
My Acer 6920G surprised me a bit. CPU - 4.9, Mem - 4.5, Graphics - 5.5/5.2, HDD - 5.2. Wasnt expecting that from a midrange laptop |

Re: What's your Vista Score?
My system is a self build with massive help from wrench.
Specs are in "My System" I'm could probibly increase my HD performance if I looked into it. However, it works, so why mess with it. ![]()

Re: What's your Vista Score?
Yeah no problem. I was new to Vista anyway and when I saw the post about the vista scores I wanted to post mine and to find out what others thought.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
I got a pic of my score below. Sorry I didn't take the pic from within my system but you can still see it.

Re: What's your Vista Score?
I get pretty fast file downloads with RAID 0. Nearly a gig or at least upper 900's for file trasnfers. Even getting loads from site is freakishly fast.
