Girl's Feet Cut Off At Six Flags

Police confirmed that a girl's feet have been cut off at Six Flags' Kentucky Kingdom.

Officials said they got the call around 5 p.m. Thursday and both her feet were detached at the ankle.

According to MetroSafe dispatch supervisors, the girl was riding the Superman Tower of Power, which is 177 feet tall and drops riders at 54 miles per hour. According to Kentucky Kingdom, the girl was injured when the ride malfunctioned. Dispatchers said she was taken to University Hospital.

What can you say? That poor girl. No amount of money can compensate for her loss. My mother always used to say accidents don't happen they are caused. This has got to be down to sheer negligence on the part of the operators.

When you make such highly dangerous fun doings, equipped with mechanical failure which has a high probability potential and then human error, which also has a fairly high probability, you get what you ask for and what awaits.

A very sad loss, due to ignorance of the elites. I don't know what a 13 year old was doing on the ride anyway. Luckily, she didn't feel the pain or happening at all, the cable snap was so fast and powerful that it severed her legs without her noticing.

Re: Girl's Feet Cut Off At Six Flags

Poor lass. All rollercoasters must be inspected daily, 2 times a day it think it is. What may have looked ok at say 8AM in the morning, will have plenty of time to become weaker throughout the day, especially if there is a lot of usage. I highly doubt the service personnel would be to blame.

John, If i fell up a kerb in the street, would it be my problem or the councils problem??? I just wanted to show you that accidents arent always caused.
