Pupils Face Clampdown On Kissing

Pupils have been warned they face being suspended if they hold hands or kiss on campus.
The ban hits students at two schools, in Mumbai, India.
"These children are too young to be getting friendly with each other so the school needs to place restrictions."

Others however, were less pleased. "These rules are silly in today's day and age," one said.

"What sense are all these restrictions? If you ban anything, youngsters will make sure they find a way to do exactly that."

EB are you sure the girls would be attracted to you???

We often get told to stop kissing at school, but not often. Its sad. Teachers etc are jealous in my opinion.

I hate the rules at my school, i am a at Christian school, and they have a rule it is called the "Day light rule" it mean if a teacher can not see "Daylight" between members of the opposite sex, you will get in trouble. Re: Pupils Face Clampdown On Kissing

It's not stupid, since this is India I think it's a cultural taboo to kiss in public.

its really stupid. They still havent twigged us kids, if you ban us from doing something we think is daft, then we will want to do it even more. Allowing it, or not making a big deal of it would be better

So at night anything goes???
It reminds me of my Jr. HS. They said we couldn't use Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" as our class song because they might be homo's. So now nearly 40 years later all I remember about Jr. HS is what idiots the "adults" were. (And of course, Ms. Mintz's see-through blouse )

Progress to HS, we wanted to have as our prom theme song the Stones' "Let's spend the Night Together" - not allowing that made more sense.

Depends really. Most of the middle-upper class do it anyway, with or without such rules, they're mere followers of the entertainment culture which thrives on drugs, clubs and libido full sex with hippy liberty. Majority of the working class or religious minded hold it as taboo and won't go near that kind of stuff in public anyway. This counts for some in the entertainment industry aswell, who are devoted Sikh/Hinudu's.

It would've been tough for the Western countries, probably impossible, but not for there. They have a dear state to counter ATM, with problems such as sexual, alcohol and drug abuse starting out with exactly these routes, and they're getting much too out of control.

This all sounds so stupid that I don't even know what to think about it. The teachers are getting really stupid with this.

I'm not going to tell ya fibs now, but when we were at school, a distance of less than 2-3 inches between a boy-girl (how we were seated was in alphabetical pairs) meant you were touching each other and playing about under the table. From first hand experience I can say that was exactly nothing but true.

Often it'll be the legs and hands. This girl called Carmela used to just...
