Another car in the living room

Car plows through wall of woman's home while she's watching TV. For the sixth time in 12 years (pic)

Re: Another car in the living room

OK, Universe tryin 2 send the lady a positive message for her own good, OK?: get out of the recliner and get that body moving.....do some cardio! gotta b like "Wut is the Universe tryin 2 teach me here????"

When she gets this....the vehicular intrusions will cease.
Then....just wut they save on plywood and sheetrock, and perhaps insurance premiums.....will pay for a gym membership!

Re: Another car in the living room

We have a lot of vehicles, ending up in people's homes here in South Australia. I think a lot off it has to do with speeding drivers.
It is a miracle that the owners and there loved ones are Not hurt by this.

Maybe the vehicles there R affected by the roos?

But seriously....I believe soon, this will manifest here in NYC. why? Because the average price fo a garage in my neighborhood (sit down) is 1K a month. Honest.

When everyone freaks about about this, which, I think is inevitable.....they will, no doubt, begin trying to park their vehicles in peoples" homes.....by wutevah mean available.

Are you serious, Jill?! 1K is just nuts! My apartment doesn't even cost me that much with bills. *notes to avoid moving to NY*

I am, e....totally serious....and the 'notes" part....U got THAT right, BLECH. Am still close 2 tears having just found out the new KW hour electric rates here.

Edit: Should add, the garages in question here are enclosed....square footage here the highest in contry, I thik, so wse R not talkikng about open parking lots. Now of course I have no vehicle.....but masny peole wh live in my budiling....those who work on Wall st, wsear Armani, R perpetually miserable or on Paxil or sumtin.....do. Starting classically memorial Day weekend.....Friday afternon.....the vheiclds beging lining up in front of the bu8ilding.....all the SAME....same Beamer, it's amazing. And they begin existing wiht their stuff wearing cliche Abercrombie uniforms.....to their places in the Hamptons.

Robotsw with no style, personality, brains usually......with hyuge dispolsable incomes and working jobs they hate.

And the now 1K...is without TIPS.

In my BUILDING....AND I adoreTHE STAFF INTENSELY, INDIVIDUAL BY INDIVIDUA, they R my peers, not the peole who ive hereL..wut our staff makes at Xmas. in tips....well, U just wouldn't believe it.

Common.....U ust have some ideda of wut I have found in the garbage of this building just putedr-related! Whoo throws out an almost new, $1,800 cutting edge Alienware laptop with all the disks mind U.....because she had an accident and hurt the KB? Think about it. Answer: the kind of person who pays 1K a month to garage a vehicle. Is who. No....wrong: ALSO the kind of person who is helpless, stupid, vapid and has no real values, or HAPPY.

But I would still rather B Jilly than anyone else starting with any of the humans I just mentioned.

Also note....this is V expensive neighborhood.....but even those less expensive, I'll bet getting more t impossible for anyone but the very rich....at least in the dead presidednts currency if no other, to survive.

More important; as anned by the shadow government.....starting bsck to cl;ueless Reagan but opw R U kidding/blatant.....the disparity of wealkth in America is greater than it was even before The Great Depression/......many of the same conditions. a miniscule percent of the population....I think arounds 2.....owns like almsot 90% of the wealth.

Even more important, historical fact: the Middle Class has always comprised the tax base in America. Not the top 2% not Fortune 500 companies.....and, as per thei, the neocon Fascists" agenda.....they have managed to all but do away with it. Not even arguable, a simple fact. We R headed for major crash.
My city is just a more dramatic example of Big Picture.

Re: Another car in the living room

Back on topic...

When I was in HS, there was a house on the apex of a curve on a popular street. One morning on my way to school there was a car 1/2 way into the house. Six hours later, on my way home from school, the owner was in his front yard building a 3 foot high by 3 foot thick concrete and rock wall at the corner.

Nobody ever drove into his living room again.

But din he then sacrifice things like a view? Din he then begin to live in a bunker in ways? Cause wut were the odds of this repeating in this situation, after all??????

Ponder: nobody drove into the concrete wall, did they? Bettcha.

The only view he obstructed was of the road - no great loss there.

See article that started this thread. If it happens once, it's gonna happen again. After all, there's an idiot born every minute (sorry PT!).

Ponder: nobody drove into the concrete wall, did they? Bettcha.

You lose. I saw at least two smashed up cars being hauled away. The guy'd just repaint the wall to cover the scars. Of course, if he did the same thing today he'd get sued by the first idiot who ran into it...

Re: Another car in the living room

As they say.....U fcan C the entire Universe in a single grain of sand.

1) 2w B Virgo-riasing pristine....PT asaid "siucker".....far mre scathing than "idiot." But in the4se events, perhap;s neither pallies.

2) re single grain of sand.....your "You Loose." See that? Affirmsa the nmost enervaitng part of some of these threads for me, given I have n unaddressed internal deficits I am always trying to fill up by engaging in combat5.

All accurate data for me is great gift.....so I am really happy to konw the specifics!Ican'
t change your p;roensity to p;ersonal politics.....but the whle win, oose p;henomeoln....ios your issue and not mine. Important, this.

3) Feel it's dangerous and more broad brushing to postulate that in many events.....repeat is inevitable. Now, more accurately, perhaps.....factoring in the location of this residence.....the proxmity and cnfiguration of roads and highways. THOSE might justify such a conclusion.

But many many events are unique and nevah repeat. Cause and effect and seeing the "why" is the issue in most things.

But the "You loose"......a whole box set, of "The essence Of"CDs....alas.!
Again, I can't put the shoe on, babe....as the shoe does not fit. And that.....is a fact at my end.

Best.
