Huge explosion rocks small market town

Wolsingham, near Bishop Auckland, in County Durham was hit with an almighty wake up call this morning as a van carrying oxy-acetylene cylinders exploded, sending debris in every direction. The driver was killed at the scene and the nearby area has been evacuated, probably to reduce the damage if another tank explodes. Its currently being treated as a major incident.

Shocking...I wouldn't like that to happen, but a human being lost his life..I feel sorry for the families and all concerned....

Nasty, I bet the company he was working for were to blame, probably not safety checked properly.

Wow, my dad told me about this about 10 minutes ago. Wolsingham is a nice small village about 7-10 miles away from me and bishop auckland being 2 miles down the road.
